Chinatiís development department is responsible for raising a significant part of the museumís budget through contributions, memberships and grants. This internship is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are interested in learning more about the fundraising process, from cultivation to stewardship.
The Chinati development intern:
The development internship typically lasts six months. An average work week is 40 hours and occasional evening or weekend time may be required for special events. As compensation, interns are given a modest stipend of $100 per week, a furnished apartment on the Chinati grounds, and travel to and from the El Paso or Midland/Odessa airports.

Development internships are offered in the spring and fall, from February through July and August through January respectively. Applications for both terms will be accepted by email only.
