The evening will begin with a preview of the Carl Andre exhibition and there will be opera music.

An exhibition of sculpture including new work and a selection of pieces from the late 1960s.
There will be a talk on Carl Andre by curator Eva Meyer-Hermann,
followed by a discussion including art historian James Meyer on
Saturday, October 9 at 3:00 PM at the Crowley Theatre.

The Chinati Foundation's permanent collection and special exhibitions will be open and free of charge
to the public on Saturday and Sunday, October 9 and 10, from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM

To celebrate the publication of the Chinati Foundation's first comprehensive catalogue,
there will be a reception at the Arena on Saturday, October 9 at 11:00 AM.
The author and editor Marianne Stockebrand will be present to sign copies of the book,
which has 320 fully illustrated pages, costs $65 dollars, and is co-published by Yale University Press.

There will be two free performances at the Crowley Theatre on Saturday night, October 9
at 7:00 and 10:00 PM. Reservations are recommended.

This is where I was: a reading by the artist on Sunday morning, October 10
at 11:00 AM at the Crowley Theatre.
